Product Highlights
QIC DataLog and QIC CAR PC

The CAETEC QIC family of data loggers and ruggedized computers offer a broad range of dedicated solutions in complement of its popular decentralized signal conditioning and acquisition modules.
B1A Microdac Telemetry System
The "B1A Telemetry System” provides a simple, accurate method of measuring strain, torque, thermocouple or voltage signals on rotating or moving machinery while operating in a completely contactless mode. Power is transferred inductively and the signal is RF-transferred between the moving and static component – no brushes or wires required! The advantage of this method guarantees an absolute wear-free continuous operation and accurate transmission of measured data.
QIC Modules Modular Acquisition System: CAN Bus, Thermocouple, Analog, frequency inputs
The QIC-modules are conducive to decentralized data acquisition of different physical quantities in mobile applications. Reduced wire routing is achieved by mounting the modules close to the transducers, which results in considerable cabling cost and time savings. Data from two CAN buses can be visualized and recorded simultaneously on the iPAQ-based QIC-LOG by pLab under Windows CE or PC.
Telemetry Systems
The newly developed Multi-Channel Telemetry Systems of the E8 and CRx series enable conditioning, digitization and wireless transmission of 8 or 16 parallel strain gage signals. Every channel can be switched at any time from strain gage to temperature input using the software.
RPM-8000-PRO:
Engine RPM directly from cigarette lighter / battery connection
RPM-8000-PRO offers a discerning solution for automotive RPM measurement without an additional sensor: the instrument is simply connected via a standard jack to the cigarette lighter socket and the engine speed is shown directly on the LCD display, or is available as a proportional analog voltage or frequency for recording purposes.
CL1 Steering Wheel: Measures Torque, Angle, and Angular Rate

CL1 and CL2 are fully integral measuring steering wheels. They are specially designed for experiments regarding life-time, comfort and handling to measure steering moment, steering angle and angular speed. Using CL2 accelerations in all three directions on the end of the steering column and the steering angle acceleration can be measured additionally.
Six Component Wheel Force Transducers:Heavy Truck through Light Passenger Car Models
30 years of RS Technologies’ experience in the development and application of six component wheel force transducers (WFTs) in combination with the expertise of CAESAR DataSystems in electronics and software, has resulted in the most modern and comfortable system for road load data collection and related testing. This powerful measuring system with an extremely easy and simple installation and continuous checkout during operation reduces setup, alignment and adjustment time considerably and gives instant real-time results during testing. The basic components of the system are the rugged one-piece wheel force transducer (WFT) and the MOPS data acquisition system.
MegaDac Calibration and Repair
Owners of Optim MEGADAC data acquisition systems now have the option to receive quality support and calibration services preformed using O.E.M. factory test equipment. CAESAR DataSystems’ ability to provide application technical support as well as repair and calibration can now help you protect your investment in equipment by extending the useful life of the Megadac’s for many years.
Our factory original, computer-automated, calibration test rack measures and evaluates hundreds of parameters to test the data acquisition systems against the original factory specifications. Completed systems are certified with printed results showing both “before and after” data which is traceable to International Standards. Equipment is calibrated quickly and efficiently to minimize down time, adjustments and minor repairs are done at no extra charge. Although the MEGADAC unit is no longer manufactured, CAESAR has been able to use their experience to source spare parts, provide maintenance and certifications in an effort prolong the useful life of these durable systems. MOPS - Modular Data Acquisition
Whether in mobile applications or in the field of test-rig control, the MOPS collects data from analog and digital transducers as well as from serial interfaces or PCM data coming from a telemetry link or DAT recorder and passes it in synchronized form to the computer. The MOPS is designed as a modular front-end system for a PC which is able to send and receive data over up to 1024 channels simultaneously with a programmable sampling rate.
